Syrian-Lebanese Business Council Unveils New Initiative to Connect Syrian and Lebanese Youth

Syrian-Lebanese Business Council Unveils New Initiative to Connect Syrian and Lebanese Youth
The Syrian-Lebanese Business Council, in cooperation with the Syrian Businesswomen and Businessmen Association, hosted a networking event focusing primarily on consulting services during Syria's recovery phase, titled: "The Consulting Sector: Insights and Opportunities." The session was attended by Dr. Layla Al-Samman, Chairwoman of the Syrian-Lebanese Business Council, and featured the participation of young individuals interested in entrepreneurship and career development.

The session was presented by Alec Assaf and Aya Djeroudi from Boston Consulting Group (BCG). It covered the concept of consulting, its role in the business world, the career paths available within the field, and how to leverage consulting to expand businesses and enter the sector.

The interactive session included an engaging dialogue in which the speakers shared their experiences across several countries in both the public and private sectors, introducing participants to international best practices and professional opportunities in the business world.

This event falls within the Syrian-Lebanese Business Council's efforts to strengthen communication channels between youth in both countries and the business community, as well as create new opportunities for development and knowledge sharing. Ultimately, these efforts contribute to building bridges of cooperation and preparing young professionals for the opportunities and challenges associated with Syria's recovery and reconstruction phase.
