Dr. Laila Al-Samman, President of the Syrian-Lebanese Business Council, chaired the session titled “Financial Challenges and Opportunities to Support the Private Sector” as part of the Syrian National Private Sector Dialogue Conference. The session brought together the Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Mr. Mohammad Safwat Raslan, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammad Abazid, and a number of representatives from banking and financial institutions.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Al-Samman emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue among all economic stakeholders to develop practical solutions that strengthen the private sector and improve Syria’s investment climate.
