Dr. Laila Al-Samman, President of the Syrian-Lebanese Business Council, accompanied by Council Board Member Adib Bassatn, visited Mohamed Choucair, Head of Lebanon's Economic Organisations and former Minister, to discuss ways of strengthening economic and trade relations between Syria and Lebanon, as well as the private sector's role in advancing bilateral cooperation.
The meeting highlighted the importance of expanding collaboration between business leaders from both countries and reviewed available investment opportunities that could foster stronger economic partnerships and create new avenues for trade and investment.
Both sides underscored the importance of maintaining close coordination between economic organizations and business councils, while advancing joint initiatives that support the interests of the private sector in Syria and Lebanon and contribute to deeper economic integration between the two countries.
